I read today that the pollen index was at 900, the highest it's ever been. Normally, it's supposed to peak at around 100-150. I don't normally have allergies, and I'm being told that the reaction I'm having to the pollen is not an allergic one. I like that I've been kept busy this week, it made everything more manageable by keeping things sepearte. I sold books at the Judith Joy Ross opening at Pace/MacGill on Thursday. We finally met the other neighbors. The only things we knew beforehand were that they were around our ages and there was atleast one guy. Wolfgang Tillmans is having a show at ps1 and it's of his abstract photos and they're going to be displayed in frames. It's a very specialized and proper and new way of looking at this work, it should be interesting. My flight back was only 4 hours and 30 minutes this time, it was the quickest flight I've ever been on. The taxi ride back to my apartment took only 20 minutes this time too, I paid almost half of what I usually did. I just finished Pullman's "The Subtle Knife" of His Dark Materials and now I know that publishers are demons, I can't believe they ended it the way they did and I'm glad I don't have to wait 3-4 years for the Amber Spyglass to come out. Disney has bought Pixar for 7.8 billion dollars, or something like that.

Gong Li and Zhang Ziyi have announced that they will be merging to form one mega-babe named Gong-Zhang Liziyi.
