today is day 1 of bringing a reusable water bottle to work. not to sound corny, but i have been trying to become more aware of the ecological footprint i will leave on the world. not just because "going green" is all the rage lately, but also because--it's true--working at natural health has inspired me to be more concerned and realize how many ( Read more... )

Did you know that Apple too is "going green" we email receipts instead of print them. Yay!

I had fun too, thanks so much for visiting me, it was awesome. And also, I am very proud of you, it is so easy to say, "one person does not make a difference." But I disagree, go Emmy!

hey! jameson and i have been talking about "going green" too. we're scared of this whole global warming ordeal. why not reuse your plastic bags that you keep getting from the supermarket when you forget to bring canvas bags ? we use them as garbage bags later, i never just throw them out. also, where did you see the biodegradable garbage bags ? and the whole bringing water in your own bottle thing...i've been doing that for ages (kudos to me!)! i like it better because you can freeze the water and it'll be colder than store-bought water! also, starbucks makes plastic straws that you can put in your tumbler and bring home and wash! i bought a pack earlier this summer! not only are they eco-friendly...but they're fucking adorable! sorry, i got a little bit overly excited about all of this.

way to be super-environmental lady! yea, i do use the bags from the grocery store as garbage bags...but it still makes me feel bad because i used 7231297 of them a year and they will take 73219 years to decompose. blech. oooh i'm really excited about those straws too!! i haven't seen them, i'll have to check them out. and the biodegradable bags are at ecoproducts.com. i came across them when i was writing a story about "green entertaining"...ha.
