How about a world where your own computer tells you what software you are and are not allowed to run? Or maybe a world where letting another person use your computer is considered on par with lending them your credit card

Sometimes... I hate technology. Yet, there is a certain beauty to it too. I'll just have to keep using outdated machines then. This one is a good 4 years and it works for me. Rootkits suck, root passwords suck... that is all.

Shuvi, you're brilliant. Either that, or get Toupai san to build it for you. Hee Hee! The fact that these guys are doing this appalls me, but doesn't supprise me. I printed out the article and read it to my folks who just shrugged and said "figgures".

And that, is the problem. Too many people instead of being outraged or motivating themselves to get our government to stop this Fourth Amendment violating activity by corporations will just shrug and say, "figures."

We'll never see the end of it if people just sit there and take it.
