My lappy sploded again. :( I fell asleep with it on my lap and I rolled over and it fell on the floor and the side cracked and its guts came out and then the speakers stopped working and everything was terrible. It's my fault, but also it's just getting to that age where euthanasia is the kindest option

I don't know what you're doing these days, but I found your Livejournal in a bout of internet "hey whatever happened to those Sim things I used to read" and really enjoyed reading your 5-7 year old posts on here. Your writing is as delightful as I vaguely remembered. I hope you replaced your faulty laptop, found other games you enjoyed just as much, kept writing in some form, and passed the intervening years among good friends. Thanks for the work you put into something seemingly trivial; lately seemingly trivial things have helped me a lot.
