Tonight, while trying to plan our Hanukkah vacation, some friends and I came up with a wonderful set of tourist destinations for the next Jewish calendar year.

The entire thing - unlikely.

It started because we *were* considering going to to Greece next week but now it's looking more like Jordan or Egypt or Turkey. And I *have* been in Israel for Yom Yerushalayim.

But the likelihood of my being in Iran anytime soon? Pretty low.

I like it, too.

I guess you could do the Sinai Peninsula for Sukkot. And Shavuot. It's not quite the same as Egypt, exactly, seeing as how it belonged to Israel for a while there in the 70s.
