About 3 years ago, on the closing of my senior year in high school I wrote a paper about the people who had been the biggest part of my life. For no other reason then to try and relive the past, I read it again and tried to bring back all those memories. Instead, I want to give an update on whats happened since ( Read more... )

Tobes. It is lovely to read from you again. I know we were never that close, but I'd still like to throw in my two cents.

1) Declining health? Will things be alright, or is it terminal? What's up?

2) The college-aged years are a time of evaluation and re-evaluation of past and future evaluations. Nothing is certain as we, as young adults, are trying to find a compromise between responsibility and enjoying youth. It is a difficult line to walk and it is even harder to find someone (let alone someoneS) to spot you on the way and help you up when you've stumbled. You can't blame yourself for others doing the same questioning you are, for not taking responsibility where they should have. We all have short comings, it's how or whether we deal with them that makes us who we are.

Hope that helps, if not I hope at least you know there's someone in the world who understands.

hey i know you and i have still yet to hang out for what feels like forever, but i would like you to know i still consider you a friend of mine whether we were close or not. we always got along and we always had fun, despite our different life experiences and different circles of friends, we had somethin goin ya know? so when i got those tickets to ozzfest last summer, i knew who to call, and that sox game a few years back... i know they are all scattered and few/far between, but there are memories i won't be losing. hopefully you find someone who isnt halfway across the country from you to be that companion or friend that you need, but honestly, i'll be here if you need a candid person, and theres always a spare couch in my apartment in michigan if you ever wanna visit... take it easy bud
