Wow, I really like the start of this. I don't think I've seen a story where Patrick is the vampire first. Plus, I loved the Anne Rice vampires (up until Queen of the Damned), so this is very nice! I hope you don't mind that I friended you, I really want to keep up with this story. I look forward to more of it.

I have a special place in my heart for Marius and Armand, so I had to keep up long enough to see what their books turned out like, but I agree. After QotD things went pretty downhill. :\
