I was recently reminded of the opinion piece that CNBC's Darren Rovell did about Meb Keflezighi's winning the NY Marathon not being a big win for the US because Meb wasn't American-born. They just had one of those prostate-reducing drug commercials on TV, and the guy was a model-planet-painter for the Air and Space Museum. When it came time for the visual "shrinking" metaphor, he used two models of Uranus... which were painted blue.
