You wrote them both so well. Italy is still a cheerful ditz, but his grief over HRE gives him a lot more depth, and it was nice to see Germany lose a little of that usually unshakable self-control!
And the ending wasn’t abrupt, you finished it exactly where it needed to finish. As for a continuation... I don’t think this story needs one as it captures everything so brilliantly already - Italy’s sorrow and Germany’s regained memory all interweaved with flashes from the past and topped off with that wonderful climax. I don’t think there’s any more that needs to be said! ♥
Superbly done, I loved it! (in case I didn’t make that clear enough already!)
