I don't really expect to get through but I am just going for fun and to try it out.. it will be a good experience xD
I do hope I get on TV.. and hopefully get people going "hey that person who sung that japanese song! that song was cool *looks it up*!" And get more people interested in J-music here =w=
I really do want to sing an Ayabie song.. but we will see~
Oh my god! I had no idea my Kiri was rocking Australian Idol. Go for it girl! And when you get to the point where you need audience votes to progress, I will harness all my internet powers to support you.
Haha I don't really expect to get far though.. I don't fit that "pop diva" style or w/e they look for.. my singing style and music probably wouldn't fit mainstream market anyways. But I'm just going to try out anyway and see what happens :) But now everyones saying WTF DON'T SING JAPANESE.. YOU SHOULD SING ENGLISH.. and since I don't know so much I'm trying to go through disney songs now and pick one to do D: Weehh
Granted I haven't watched Australian Idol since 2001. But some of the finalists look like total bogans that wandered in off the street. Then they groom them up a bit. You're naturally stylish and awesome.
I say go with Japanese to stand out. I say you will get far because you don't fit the mainstream and I think they will dig that.
HI HI~ harucchi referred me (sort of) to you xD I'm from Melbourne @__@;
I think you should try out with Ayabie! I mean, it's something different and they won't see it coming. Everyone will be singing in English. And I remember watching the trials for Australian Idol and some dude was singing in Spanish and the judges said he was good xD
