The top 10 list in the new Alternative Press is way better. I'm just 17 so I feel like I missed out on most of those albums but I've read so much about each of those bands and how they influenced a ton of other bands nowadays. I'll probably finally pick up some of those albums after seeing that list but I was a little surprised that At The Drive-In wasn't on that list...to me, they seemed like underdogs and their legacy is still growing everyday.

What was their criteria? "The best"? Their favorites? Most influential? Anyway, with regard to ATDI, I have something funny to say. I was at a CD store yesterday and the card behind the ATDI best of compilation called the band "Mexican nu-metal." Funny!

Descendents and Black Flag put out their seminal albums before 1985.

Lifetime and Dillinger Escape Plan, while killer bands, are inconsequential in the grand musical scheme.
