I bet the cat in my userpic smells really good. Still can't find anything on the web which might tell me why I find the smell of cats (presumably their saliva) intoxicatingly pleasant. Might yet have to go with orinotta's insane rat virus theory. Do cats go running up to everyone they meet, or is it just me? Is there a virus living in cats that makes

Cats only go running up to suckers. They can see you coming. Free food! they think. Attention! All the being stroked and fondled I can handle!
