After a completely lovely weekend I can't seem to wake up this morning. I just can't help thinking that I'm awake in the middle of the night and should go back to sleep straight away. Please?

Interestingly (or not), whilst pebblepup's to-do list currently has give a shit at number 1, mine has give less of a shit at the top. I need to care less about almost everything... I am carefully developing a fuck it attitude. This is novel and exciting. I would explain more, but I couldn't give a fuck, so I won't.

I had a good gig on Friday. People in the audience who none of us knew complimented me on my playing! Which was lovely of them. Most importantly, one of them, who was a drummer who'd been playing for about 30 years, was kind enough to give me some good advice. That is, I've really got to relax! Aargh! An e-mail discussion at work is pissing me off. Just after my project manager has sent what appears to be the final word on a particular issue, this one guy sends an email completely contradicting that and furthermore (and hence why I'm pissed off) he out-of-context quotes me and then implies that I'm saying the exact opposite of what is ( Read more... )

I have a feeling I've just spent most of the afternoon trying to fix something that wasn't broken. Oh well, I still get paid...

Gah, it's this point in the afternoon when my brain just refuses to continue thinking about the same thing I've been working on since first thing this morning. It just won't. No stamina, you see.

I'd happily work on something else. *switches to something else, and wonders what all the fuss was about*
