Pebble and I had a lovely weekend visiting mewso in Canterbury. The city was a bit like a little Cambridge, and Mewso lives very near the centre which makes the wander into town easy and pleasant. Went to Homocrime at the weekend. Orin had invited Pebble and I and it seemed like a fun way to spend Saturday night. A lot more fun than staying in hospital. I won't describe it in detail, because (a) when do I ever and (b) here it is described by orinotta. Amusingly, Orin's housemate Penny did think I was rough trade :)

Bloody evil little wasp stang me on my knee whilst I was cycling to work this morning.

I lose at squash because:

• I close my eyes just before hitting the ball
  
• I twist my wrist so I'm trying to hit the ball with the racket sideways on
  
• After a 'let' in my favour I deliberately lose the point to my opponent

I'm bored. I'm waiting for people to get back to me so I can do some work. Having just spent 2 or 3 days getting my head into a (huge) project, I'm now supposed to be working on a (smaller) project but at least I'll actually be doing stuff rather than just "getting up to speed". Third Tai Chi lesson last night. It was on Jesus Green this time, and I trod in dog poo right at the start. I referred to it as 'dirt' when I had to explain why I was madly attacking my feet with sticks; I don't know why I thought I had to be polite enough not to say 'poo'. Now I've had my second Tai Chi lesson, it's a bit late to say I've just had my first Tai Chi lesson... We went out on the park as it was a nice evening, although I felt a bit awkward at first because of my vast inexperience.
