Do any of you still get the Guardian?

Got this message on myspace:

Which sounds quite intriguing!

I spent quite a while yesterday chatting to Michael Eavis. He really is the funniest bloke ever, in a good way. You could spend days listening to festival anecdotes without getting bored!

Anyone fancy coming to the Roadhouse tonight? It's £3 with a Flier and there's the Real Dolls and the Palominos playing - and me! And then free entry to Northern Monkey club night.... Should be a goodun!

According to katelass, my Roadhouse gig this Tuesday is listed in this week's Guardian Guide! Probably because the two other acts (the Palomino's and the Real Dolls) are both apparently awesome. Really looking forward to Tuesday.. though a little bit nerve-wracking too!

Well that worked really well! Have had a lovely 24 hours in York with Clare. We went straight to hers yesterday (it's a huge house) and walked dogs. Today we went for a meal and coffee in York, and I got the train back ( Read more... )

It's really lovely being back in Somerset - driving home tonight after visiting Pip, Joe and Melissa.... no-one around on the roads and it was a beautiful cold, clear evening. But getting out of the car I realised how bright the stars are down here. It's amazing the contrast with Manchester ( Read more... )

Got home to Somerset yesterday after the Birmingham trip. Planning a nice relaxing Easter break here, but on the first evening, Alex told me about an outdoor party that was happening in the evening - turned out quite a few of our mates were going to it too.
