Ugh, today we just had a break in the hot weather, which I really really needed. 78 degrees is not a sleeping temperature.

it sounds like you are have a great summer! That picnic sounds awesome. Abe and I did something very similar on friday at Alki beach! Then the fourth of july was good too...watched the works from his roof...probably one of that last times we'll get to enjoy it...

Service jobs, while they can be alright, are so poorly paying. And apparently your feelings about tips are mirrored across the globe...The older posts on http://waiterrant.net/ are a good indication of this.

I move in with Abe starting the 23rd of July. it's coming up fast and I am excited!

I'm sure you look tanner. It's hard to tell with us whitey-white-pantses, but I think we can spot it in each other (even if it is mostly in freckles!)

I'm in the whitey-white group too. Nothing but my freckles will get any darker. WUT.

Sounds fun in Norway - I didn't know it got so warm there! I'm kind of partial to the cooler temps myself, which stinks because all of the halfway decent places in the world get to at least 80 (or remain there) at some point in the year.

I wish there was a better job over there for you! It's nice to have the experience, I suppose, but sucky not to have any money. Unrelatedly, I wish patients would tip me as they leave the clinic. HA.

I myself will be leaving my current job this Wednesday (15th), and will ne'er again return. I still have no idea what I'll do after I leave. I've considered the life of a starving artist. Thank goodness for a bf who buys me food.

Tell me how to do GChat so I can talk to you more. I think I'm retarded at it. P:

Ha! I love this. I'm going to respond to it in the way we used to do, where I quote what you said and then write my witty response... but I'm not sure I remember how to do italics on here! Let's see...

Dude, from reading about your awesome responsibilities at that job, it really sounds like they should have tipped you! But actually, I shouldn't complain too much about this job. I get to be on a boat, and socialize a lot, and pretend I'm a Norwegian who's learned to speak reaaally good American English :). So I shouldn't complain.

Thank goodness for a bf who buys me food.Dude, high-five for that!! *virtual hi5* My boyfriend also pays the rent. Sometimes, that's just how it's gotta be ( ... )

Word. That's awesome. If only I knew Spanish well enough to pull this trick off with the Mexicans. :/

Also, I quit my job because it sucked so bad!! I'm now a bum and, ironically, I just got a new computer which I am using right now to reply to you. Yay new stuff! Boo approaching pennilessness.

Dude, high-five for that!! *virtual hi5*Exploding high-five! /awesome-town ( ... )

I was totally prepared to be shocked, until I realized that I'm not surprised in the least. It was to be expected, right? So, where did you hear the news? Straight from the horse's mouth?

Yes, I was invited to the wedding by the bride herself. She's marrying a guy named Bob from Boston who she met on World of Warcraft. Bryce and I will be attending the festivities.
