I think it's great that you included movies
After re-reading your list I noticed that you have The Untouchables on there a show which I also have on my list but I think it is a different connection
If you tell me how you got The Untouchables on you list I will tell you how you can get Night Court on there
Lucy Show/UntouchablesjohnmunchJuly 15 2008, 12:11:01 UTC
Each list entry connects to at least one other. Ep. #109 of the Lucy Show featured The Untouchables' Robert Stack and Neville Brand as Ness and Nitti, respectively.
It was a spoof, given that Lucy took place in the late 60's and the Untouchables had their days in the 30s. However, chronology - or historicity, for that matter - was never a strong suit of the latter show. The episodes jumped back and forth in time. One gangster could get killed in one show and appear hale and hearty two weeks later. Anyway, it was a character crossover and thus made the grade to my list.
The Lucy Show is further connected to Here´s Lucy, Gomer Pyle USMC, and Hi Honey, I'm Home.

The inclusion of movies (as far as I am concerned) will happen only via a TV character connection - just to build it up slowly but surely ;-)
The next update will include info about ALIAS JESSE JAMES (1959) and MAVERICK (1994) - did you notice the plethora of cameos during the riverboat scenes?
Re: Lucy Show/UntouchablesjohnmunchJuly 16 2008, 15:24:06 UTC
I actually did not notice the cameos in Maverick until you pointed it out to me
To keep my end of the bargain, Conchata Ferrell appeared as Joan Thor her character from the original E/R in the Night Court episode Here's to You, Mrs. Robinson

I suppose the fact that The Untouchables was filmed at Desilu might have helped prompt this episode, but it sounds great--I never knew about it before.
I definitely think Alias Jesse James is a great "gateway" film for crossovers, and combined with the "Gambler: Luck of the Draw" mini-series and the "Hadley's Hunters" episode of the original Maverick, it really brings in western series.

Here's how it goes: "No, Mrs. Stephens, I don't think your daughter-in-law is a witch..... You actually SAW it levitate? Well, maybe it was an optical illusion....."
Saving Grace = Tommyverse showwiley_coyote9August 6 2008, 06:29:33 UTC
I don't think anyone's caught this yet, but the last aired episode of Saving Grace (Wikipedia calls the episode 2-04 "It's a Fierce, White-Hot Mighty Love") ties into the Tommyverse now, because the main character, Grace, opens a pack of those infamous crossover devices, Morley cigarettes, and gives another character one.

No, you did not miss an update - this is the one following #14. A book-keeping mistake on my part.
Please let me know what you think about my inclusion of crossover movies (re BEACH PARTY series).
