One of my dog's died today. She was older and had her for about 12 years...or so we think. Apparently she had splenic cancer and what actually happened was that it ruptured. Frankly, she bled to death, but it was painless ( Read more... )

My mom died at 6:15pm. Although I was there at her bedside, I thought it was around 5:30pm. There are no words to describe what it's like to watch your mother die and I won't even try to explain it. I do realize she's at peace now and she is no longer suffering. Those thoughts get me through each day as I help my family clean up everything ( Read more... )
