unfortunately, diners are the epitome of lame. whatever happened to sunsets and rain, something cliche like that?

i don't know what's lame about diners. smoking and getting refills of coca-cola owns. i love rain but i don't like sunsets. i don't like the sun at all.

darling you obviously don't live in new jersey where diners are the only place that people think they can go to have fun and it gets disruptive. it's raining here tonight, in more ways than one.

maybe i'll move to new jersey in a few months. i don't see why not. i've always wanted to live in new jersey or new york or something which must sound dreadfully cliche but i mean i like the cold and i like the manufactured look of everything. i like buffalo because it looks so old and i look like i belong there. am i making sense? i love twenty-four hour diners and not because kids do or don't go there. i like them is all.
i wish it was raining here but there's nothing but monolithic clouds that are warning everyone of something. i shaved my head bald today and i'm brooding like i'm going to kill someone. who knows?
i wish we were friends. you're terribly radical even if you don't know so.

nathaniel i know what you mean by wanting to be with one person and really get to know them over coca-cola and cigarette smoke in a 24 hour diner. actually i dont like cigarette smoke but the coca-cola i get. and i listened to that "friday im in love" song the other day and then friday came and i had to leave to go to atlanta with my family for the whole weekend and im still here right now. and all of my relatives are downstairs right now laughing and joking and all i want to do is come home.

i hope you find a radical person to spend the night with in a diner.
