Reading Tuesdays with Morrie has really sent a jolt in to my little sheltered reality. What is the point of living if you are forgotten when you die. We are born only to die. actually, i think the point of tuesdays w/ morrie was that death isn't depressing at all; it's just a part of life. we are all remembered through the people we help and through the strong relationships we form. Morrie was content with dying because he had lived a full life of helping people, and he had formed really strong bonds with his loved ones, so he knew he'd be remembered. that's something anyone can do ( ... )

i read tuesdays with morrie. i dont think i found it as profound as the 2 of you. living to die is a stupid way to think. my philosophy is if life passes by seconds, then live it by seconds. might not make much sense probably cuz i'm really tired while typing this. quit thinking about death; ur gonna end up as one of those goths that i used to beat up in high school. ur too moody "da weej", lighten up. then again u do have reasons to be moody... seeing how u enjoy camping and riding buses and all that.
