Thank you to which ever person in the City Lights program made me sick. That being said, spring break was exceedingly good, and also difficult. I am officially a broke graduate student. Today we were having a guest speaker come and give a seminar which meant that I knew in advance that there would be free lunch. Since I only have mundane things happen to me at work,(except for the occasional times that I actually get results), I am instead going to tell all of my wonderful public transportation stories. So anyway, I was filling out this survey online in my free time in the lab. I do the whole survey thing to supplement my meager income. So yesterday at Intervarsity Greg announced that today was the international thanksgiving dinner and that drivers were needed to get the international students to the event. So today I am exhausted. We are doing a week long 24/7 prayer event here on campus and I made the mistake of volunteering to be the coordinator for last night from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am. So I should be studying for my biology lab exam tomorrow. But who really cares about amylase and saliva proteins and alcohol dehydrogenase anyway. And who cares about sodaria. Nobody cares. Today was a wonderful day because I finished the fruit fly experiment! (except for the paper). And people said it was impossible to finish in a semester. I did it in half.
