So today after we got back from lunch, our station received a call from our Manager, who is currently in Reno helping out. She pretty much wanted to let us know that one of the Denver agents who came down to help us all the time had passed away while on vacation with his family. So I don't have anything to really update about.

I just wanted to post the funny picture of our dog that A took last night.

He reminds me of an wrinkly man winking, at least when it's zoomed in.

Oh, and I think she may have poked him in the eye to get him to wink like that. Oh well ;)

So for the past month, I have been trying to figure out a fun place to take A for a mini vacation. I'm thinking Disneyland, or maybe one of those other kid happy places. I know in San Diego I get discounts on that Animal Kingdom thing, and at the zoo. I don't think Sea World is included, but I know Costco has a 3 for 1 deal right now for that ( Read more... )

So for a fun mother/daughter day, I got tickets to see My Little Pony live. Nice. 20 years those little critters have been around (gawds I'm old) and this was the first official live tour of them. So I spent my two days off, including celebration day of birth, pukin' my brains out with whatever stomach flu is going around. Eh, not at all fun. when your kid is gleefully singing "baka baka baka!" and all you can do is giggle because she's saying stupid in japanese.
but it's sooo cute!!!!! i soo need to get her listening to japanese with me s'more.

Well, this will be my last week on my current schedule. On the 3rd, we'll be getting 3 flights a day, and I'll be working the afternoon and eve flight. Should be fun.
