I am trying! But it’s hard not to be swept into the need to memorialize these strange days. I used to joke so much about the curse of interesting times. They really are interesting! I couldn’t have dreamed this current predicament.

Yes, she is lucky! I stole the nurse’s name from my friend’s sister who really is a nurse at our big hospital working on the COVID patients along with others. A lot of us have a lot to be grateful for, for sure.

Erin's return was a powerful choice; I love how this continuity brings the unstoppable monster of time square into your characters' very real world. This was such a sensorial exploration of how mortality erases the divide between memory and dream. I think what is so crucial here that you teased out is that in this reality limited to the perception of one's own vantage, all that truly persists is feeling and sensation. Thanks for immerging us in that spiral of stimuli. (Also, the ventilator as a snorkel was a genius manoeuver!)
