Fucking Mistletoe, huh?

Anyway, Hogsmeade tomorrow. I hope I don't forget all the Christmas presents I need to pick up. Which d'you think'd amuse seven year old girls more--ice mice or cockroach clusters?

Ice Mice!

[Private to Ted]

You know, I think I need to mention that I'm here for you if you need to talk. I know there must be something going on between you and Andromeda--I mean, not what all the rumours that have been about say, but the real story. I--just, if you need to talk...oh, bollocks. Now I sound all funny. You know what I meant.

Not a cockroach clusters fan?

[Private to Alice]

Yeah, I know. Thanks. It's just long and complicated, and I know you've got your own relationship deal with.

Maybe too crunchy for me, I think.

[Private to Ted]

Oh, no! You're my friend! And, judging by the bags under your eyes, you still haven't caught up on your sleep. And, you know, I haven't been really sleeping well lately. So maybe we should just met up in the common room at three in the morning, to give you a long enough time to explain the complicated details. If you need to.

I don't know if I could explain it. I'm not trying to be cryptic, it's just things are messed up enough in my mind to begin with. I dunno if I could sort it out properly.

But dungbombs! Every seven-year-old loves dungbombs. Or those quills that explode ink all over the place.

Dungbombs and squirting quills don't seem really wizard-y, do they? Like, a Muggle could mistake it for some weird antic, yeah?

Why not get ice mice for one and cockroach clusters for the other? If one of your sisters is a bit of a tomboy, I'd suggest cockroach clusters for her. My sister would freak out if I brought them home for her, and she's a real girly girl. Then again, she would freak out if I brought home anything magical, so perhaps she isn't the best thing to base this on.

Wow, that was a lot of rambling. Go with the ice mice.

You know, maybe I should just bring 'em both. Thanks, Lils.
