When Miguel and I went to New York in 2008, I got the chance to see Spring Awakening. It was a show that Julie had seen the previous year, just after it had gotten the Tony for Best Musical. Mad props to Brett and Kelly for getting us a wet/dry shop vac as a wedding present. We are making good use of it sucking water out of our root cellar. :(

So we met Miguel's teacher this morning. He's going into the first grade and seems to be taking the transition well, even though there is nobody in his new class that was in his Kindergarten class. OK, I know I haven't posted lately, but I'm emerging from my work/baby cave to pass on a link that made me laugh and laugh: Auto-tune the News. It's Katie Couric as if she were produced by T-Pain. It's C-Span meets Lady Gaga. And it made me laugh far too hard.
