Today I finished a trilogy of young adult horror books by Caroline B. Cooney I used to LOVE as a kid.  I flew through the three of them in the last couple days.  I love re-reading my old kids books, and it's awesome I have some down time to read without feeling like my brains are leaking out my ears.

Exploring the bed of a reservoir that's been under water for some 50+ years today was pretty cool.  Apparently before the Silicon Valley got huge, there was a town called Lexington just south of Los Gatos, which was the halfway stop for stagecoaches running between San Jose and Santa Cruz  When the valley got so crowded that water became a problem ( Read more... )
