David Sedaris. David Sedaris. DavidSedarisDavidSedarisDavidSedaris, is speaking at UCSB, the local college here in Santa Barbara. This is the only time I've ever wanted to be a student at UCSB

I was thinking about you in my car yesterday! Where have you been, darling?!!?
And I just read my first whole Sedaris book since being traumatized by losing the library's copy of "Naked" ($40 worth), and can't believe how much I've been missing.
I read it at work and everyone looked at me like a loon when I got to the story about the turd, I laughed so hard.
I inspire thoughts while driving!? I feel special now. And apparently I've been away daydreaming about a life with David Sedaris. You can't blame me for not having time to update, after all daydreaming is hard work. For instance, if he takes me in his arms and kisses me, what will I be wearing. It's such a mental exertion.
But I've missed you! And what's this about a $40 dollar Naked? Those blood-thirsty librarians! If you want I can send you my copy.
interesting. i've never heard of him but your description makes me want to look him up next time I'm at the bookstore. dang, and i was just there last night!
Anyway, you should totally go to see him speak! if you look up to him that much i think it would really be awesome to see him speak in public. who cares if it's on a college campus, there'll be lots of adults and younger people I'm sure. I worked at the huge concert hall at my school and to tell you the truth there were probably more people that weren't college students at the place all the time. Hey it's open to everyone and you're a part of the community too! if i was out there I'd offer to go with ya!
I wish you were here! I don't know anyone interested in going, only a few other college kids who are at least 3-4 years my senior and therefore make me nervous:/ But I think I'll try to go anyway.
You should totally look him up when you feel like it. His books are really funny and I think just about anyone can relate to most of what he says. He's no Draco Malfoy though so don't get your hopes up.
