they actually ate something that i plated!!

even more amazing was they were hanging out.

together.

i thought that was one weird combo.

say hello to the new head pastry chef at the barr mansion!! they offered me the job yesterday. they said they loved my cakes, my decorating abilities, the flavors and my 'can do' attitude. yay me!

today in class we made ciabatta bread, pan de mais and fougasse. the fougasse is kick ass because it has sun-dried tomatoes and kalamata olives in it. yum. plus i got to bring it home today so i'll be snacking on that a little later.

tonight i have to research 6 common flat breads and determine their country of origin. thank goodness for google. :
