dude
i was thinking about your plan to hit the milk bottle and the need for non-magnetic sticky throwies. well, some dude made some where he wrapped the battery in plasticine and then i got to thinking: how rad would it be to fire those sonzabitches with a gawdamned sling shot?!

jate got about 500 through the mail. the milk bottle would be ablaze from that. but half the fun would be scaling the building.

Your neighbors:

"I knew that kid was trouble the first time I saw 'im. 'There goes the neighborhood', I said. Remember, how I said that? 'There goes the neighborhood'? That's what I said, and now look. Tiny lights. Tiny gawddammed lights."

all ebay. i got them considerably cheaper than any of the sources listed on that site thankfully. worked out to about 90 cents canadian per throwie.

I was reading about the plasticine version too - would it really stick? Now
Heck, I'd be happy just sling-shooting them through the sky in a dark field somewhere. Playing fetch, really. I'm into it.

Next up: floatie-throwies.
(plastic egg capsules from vending machines?)

we are SO on the same page; i've been thinking over the floating throwies for a while now with the idea to release them into the lake at the illuminares festival this year.
those eggs might work very well. i was trying to figure out some elegant way to stick the LED into a cork but i haven't worked it out yet.
and sling-shotting on it's own would be rad. or attaching them to balloons?
