I've known people who treat normal cold-related congestion with warm saline irrigation. There's a thing called a, "Neti Pot" ("Netty Pot"? "Netty's girl"?) that is a little ceramic teapot-looking thing that has a nostril-sized spout on it. You lay your head sideways and do that circular-breathing-with-warm-saline-water exercise.
The whole thing's no bueno, if u ask me. I can't even WATCH someone do that Neti bidness. Speaking of circular breathing, you can champion nasal irrigation as a path to trippy didg' skills, br'ah. Shaka.
Seriously, though - hope the procedure goes well.

it does weird stuff to my ears though; i think cause some water gets in the eustascion (sp?) tubes and makes wet pressure-change sensations go on like you've been swimming.
it makes sense that justin can do it. who's amanda watson?

I am so excited that you can get it in one nostril and out the other! I still want to learn so bad. I got a serger today! (In totally unrelated news). Also, I miss you. Please come down for a weekend. Thx, Erin

sorry i've been incommunicado since you've been back. i've been sick for a week now which is a pretty shitty lead-up to surgery. nevertheless, i'll be healed soon enough and then we can start drinking in the sun.
