I've been to the States several times before, but I'm going on quite a limited trip and want to make the most of my time there. I'm also travelling with someone who has only been to Hawaii, so I don't want to waste her time in the places I've been to before ( Read more... )

I live in Orlampa (middle of Tampa and Orlando) I really suggest Cocoa beach. If you park by Ron John Surf Shop it's free parking. If you get on the beach from there and make a left there is the best little bar ever. They have good food and Land Shark(bestbeereverohshit)on tap. Usually a band playing shoddy Sublime/Slightly Stoopid covers that make me happy. It's not that far from Orlando. You'll just have to arrange travel. I really suggest renting a car. Walking anywhere is not an option. It's June and 101F out and You'll spend a lot on transportation otherwise. FYI anything you can think of is on I drive in Orlando. Water parks galore! At Crossroads in Orlando you have cheaper and better restaurants. The further you get from I drive the cheaper everything is. Def. check out Arabian Nights it's a dinner show thing that everyone seems to love. Gaylord Palms is nice for fancy dinner. If you go through downtown you kind of run through some art supply stores that have some amazing graffiti. There are tons of galleries and exhibits you ( ... )

in regards to l.a,

There is a nice bar on sunset blvd close to amoeba called the cat & fiddle and i have seen quite a few famous people there.

a lot of celebs go to amoeba, but its kind of harder to see them there i guess. unless you just wanna walk around and pretend to look at records for a few hours lol.

also there is a restaurant called Canters you should go to just because the food is good, but ive seen a couple famous people there at odd hours in the morning.

Disneyland is smaller, but I like that because you can do more in one day, and all the good rides are right next to each other, whereas in Disney World they're spread out from park to park with a ton of crappy rides in between. World of Color was REALLY cool, but don't bother getting the fastpass-whatever tickets for it. You can basically see it from any distance back and anywhere in the park. What you should concentrate on is getting to Fantasmic in the other park early, because if you don't get a close seat, you won't be able to see anything.

There aren't really parts of Central Park that are all that great, it's just nice if you want a little oasis away from the city. If you guys want to go to the beach on a nice day though, I suggest taking a day trip out to Long Beach, Long Island. You can buy a round trip train ticket and a beach pass (which I think they give you at a discounted price) at the ticket window in Penn Station.

Maybe get some rush tickets to a play? If you like Harry Potter, DanRad is on broadway right now and he's hilarious in the show.

Also do not go to coney island. It's dirty and trashy and a 2 hour subway ride for nothing. The beach is gross and the surrounding town is not nice.
