Honestly, it's like, WHAT THE HELL ARE THE REPUBLICANS DOING?!?
Anyway, if you are reading this I would like you to know I have a spare room and you are all welcome to crash at my place until this all blows over or until the religious bigots shoot themselves, whichever happens first.

The entire mess is completely unfathomable, the American red cross sends medicine and healthcare to all the four corners of the earth yet that basic level of care is being denied there at home.
I think Obama is proving himself to be a very brave man although I doubt America will be brave enough to elect him for a second term.(home of the brave my free European ass!)
You are welcome for as long as it takes! :)

I agree with you: it's unbelievable that health care here is so expensive and for some difficult to get. The rest of major industrialized countries have health care, but we try to have just a little bit of health care for people and OMGZ EVIL Socialism destroying America!!! * head desk *

Obama is actually in his second term already. He was first elected back in 2008.
Aw! :D There are days where I think "God, I wish my family hadn't immigrated so far away from Europe 100 years ago!"

It is definitely anti-republican, although I am aware I am preaching to the choir, I'm very confident my LJ friends are not the gun toting, Fox News watching anti-obamacare bigots I like to rant about.
With so many shootings I would venture that America needs social healthcare more than many other industrialized countries.
I have lived in America twice and LOVED it, but I cam very glad to be living here currently.

Haha! Just head for Amsterdam and ask for the Welsh guy! :) Although all 27 member countries of the European Union offer a certain degree of healthcare if you get off at the wrong bus stop!
