I was just thinking about that earlier today, my Dad was talking about getting back from a day out and about and being so thirsty since they hadn't taken water.

Is it one of those things that years ago there were more water fountains around? Have they gone the way of the Dodo and the pay phone?

I think they are still there. Since I read that post a few days ago, I've been consciously looking for, and finding, water fountains. The blog author certainly found plenty around town as she ran her errands.

Hmm, now I'm thirsty!

So glad you like her! I think Helloheather is the one who introduced me to the blog ages ago!

She (Katie Wolk-Stanley) gave our Etsy shop a small free ad space last December as part of her campaign to encourage people to think outside of the brand name box for holiday gifts, which I thought was a solid thing to do.

I actually got to meet her and thank her in person at a meetup earlier this year -- the first time I ever did such a thing. She's very nice and very frugal. I've learned a lot from her posts. Including the reassuring fact I'm not the only one out there curb shopping :-)
