College vs. highschool is interesting. Personally, I think it's the environment and the way students are treated (i.e., like adults). I think if you transplanted the student body of highschool (ours, anyway, dunno about others) exactly as is into a college, it would feel more mature/better. I think it has to do with expectation- in highschool you're expected to be a kid and that means people treat you a certain way. There's a lack of trust and a feeling that you aren't responsible (even if you prove you are). But in college you're expected to be an adult and people treat you that way without even thinking about it (I guess I'm thinking about faculty here). There's respect. (...except for the guy in our cafeteria who will chase you down to keep you from bringing your coffee in with you to breakfast. Super, super annoying).

...butter, bread, and chocolate?? ...weird.

I've been tutoring a 21 year old in algebra, and it's possibly one of the hardest things I've ever done, just because he doesn't want to learn. He's trying to be a mechanical engineer. Good luck to him.

I can find you boatloads of recipe. If you want to just choose a few ingredients I'll pick some for you with those.

thoughts about high school/college were interesting. Not sure they're generally applicable, but we shall see.

myeah. Sounds like you're having lots of fun. good.
