So, I would strongly advise anyone wanting Chinese/Thai takeout to avoid the Yangtze on Jefferson (in the Tops plaza). The food is alright but their service is absolutely awful. We got a fairly large order last night, and one item was incorrect. They said we'd get the difference and the correct food item delivered. We ordered at 7, the food arrived ( Read more... )

The Company is opening at The Little on Friday, January 23.

I have just been handed an Arkansas quarter, completing my collection of state quarters for 2003. So for those I asked to look out for it for me, you're off the hook til the 2004 quarters get minted.

Wouldn't have thought of it, but apparently my hands and honeydew melon juices do not agree. At least they haven't puffed up, but they're all splotchy and mottled.

Too bad I don't have a digital camera so I could show you all what I mean.

I think that today's bout makes it 16 hours or so of shopping since last saturday. Still not done, either - damn you, kurtm!

Saw The Last Samurai Friday night - excellent movie, go see it!

Saw Honey tonight - good dance movie, Jessica Alba did a good job with the title part.

Really great report on interviewing with the NSA - lots of it is the way I recall from when I was trying to get a co-op there.
