Today I was helping a man back into his bed after he had walked around the wing a few times.  He needed his IV plugged back in, and he needed help with his Foley catheter.  So I plugged his IV back into the wall, and helped him undo his outer robe because it would catch on his IV's in bed.  And he had one on underneath.  The bag for his catheter ( Read more... )

This just made my day.
We're not at the point of getting married, but it just tickles me that he and his mom were talking about it. I wonder what else they said!

I am going CRAZY from the itching. I think it's related to the weather (getting cooler here in CA) and stress (yay finals!). Does anyone have a remedy they used and liked, or know works (Bibuo????) I see a lot of home remedies on the internet, but am not excited to do home science experiments!
