Volunteering in Outpatient Surgery
I am in a new department for the current volunteer rotation that does only outpatient surgeries. Anything where you have the surgery done and go home that day, they do here. Missing White Hospital Shoes
Today I pulled into the hospital parking lot about 15 minutes before my shift started. I organized myself, then I popped the trunk to get my white hospital sneakers out. I have a big day tomorrow
- Hand in application to Nursing Program. They won't accept mailed or faxed applications. The application process is open for two weeks starting tomorrow. It is only one page, no essay. If I fill it out wrong, will they tell me before I turn it in? Would I tell someone else their application was filled in wrong, knowing that 500 people apply for ( Read more... )

Zumba!
I tried a Zumba class this morning. It was SO CUTE and FUN! The music was all Latin/South American and a little Spanish (flamenco). The instructor was outgoing without being "instructor crazy". The class was full of women in their 50's--I could just imagine them reliving vacations to Brazil or Costa Rica as they danced. I tried the class ( Read more... ) -

Boy for a Day
Tonight I tried to make "Super Salad Pizza" for dinner and it was a massively hilarious flop. Actually, the salad itself was okay, but as Ryan put it, the homemade Bisquick crust "tasted like pancake with cheese on top". Ha ha ha. Patient Experiences
