I am so certain sometimes that we owe certain people karmic debt from past lives. It's just so inexplicable why we stay bound to people sometimes despite how poorly they treat us. Can you clarify the first two sentences?

So... we stay bound to people who mistreat us because in a past life, they have gained some form of karma credit? Were we the ones who took out that debt in our past lives, or are we just the ones who are paying for it?

I definitely feel you though on the whole sticking to people who don't deserve it (great example: Matty), and there are times when I feel like I'm practically forced to ignore people who are good natured, friendly, and who want a friendship.

I'm also feeling the "you can never fully change your ways until you've been on the receiving end" piece.... I guess I'm feeling this post, overall. It has been felt.

Also, how have you gotten better at feigning confidence?? You were always pretty fucking good at that

I think it works like if you were shitty to someone in a past life and you never reconcile with them in that lifetime then yeah, you owe them. You just have to suck it up and let them be shitty to you. Of course if this is the case, then in their next lifetime that behavior may cost them ( ... )
