So my mom walked into my room while I was semi-asleep, and read off three rejection letters to me today! Woo.

SUNY Purchase: Accepted, merit scholarships, sent back reply card saying 'no'.

SUNY New Paltz: Rejected, application incomplete, didn't care one way or the other.

SUNY Oneonta: See SUNY New Paltz.

Hartwick College: Accepted, muchos dinero

anyhow--at least you've heard from all of yours. i'm still waiting... so far, 6 for 6, but um, the ones i'm waiting on are most selective, so. :/

since you're not responding on aim, i'm going to ask my semi-important question here:
this guy i know has a disc with the mel gibson jesus flick on it. it's an .avi file, and totally won't play on his comp--the audio is great, but no video. is there any way to save it as a different sort of file so that it will play for him, or is it hopeless?

I think thats probably because he may not have the right codec to make it play- try and find out what was used to encode it and make sure his list is up to date. <3

If it makes you feel any better, i fell asleep during the math section on my SAT. The guy sitting next to me had to ask the proctor if he could wake me up.

Awww babe that sucks so much but its their loss really- because you have drive and a vibrant personality and I know of at least two people who'd do you. But really, you have to remember all the degrees in the world aren't going to make you a better person, or are gonna help you in life. You've got the "savoring life" additude that is going to get you somewhere- whether Skidmore likes you or not. In fact, screw them!

Besides, you can always try and transfer next year if you really want to.

skidmore are artsy fartsy fucking assholes anyways and their dorms suck. also you can probably easily transfer next year (if you just get as for a year which i know you CAN do easily). also the thing about a college not being right for you if they reject you is true.
also seconding the thing about your mom reading your mail being fucked the fuck up.
