i've had such a wonderful weekend here, if only because i have friends. as in, i got invited to a party for friday night. i was nervous. i went. there were about 25 of us there. we danced. it was fun.

so my new class is really cool. i'm excited and happy and i've had so many fun conversations in swinglish today. i don't have class until 11 or something tomorrow. yessss.

now i can shower around female strangers, because that's just what you do here if you go swimming or something.

i guess i've gotten a lot less awkward about life in the past 2 months.

oh, and swedish cakes are way better than american cakes.

i had my first tortilla in one month and twenty-three days yesterday. actually, i had two of them. and oh damn, were they good. my icelandic friend pronounces "tortilla" the un-spanish way. tor-til-la. it's awful ( Read more... )

i'll be in sweden on friday.

until then, i'm at home today and tomorrow, fly out tomorrow night, have orientation in new york on wednesday and thursday, and fly to sweden on thursday night.
