Have you looked at the shuttle SFF(small form factor) boxes. I love mine, as do all of my friends who have picked on up.

This one has the same chipset: http://global.shuttle.com/Product/Barebone/SN41G2%20V3.asp

2x ddr 400 512mb will run faster than your 1 ddr333 1028mb of ram.

also, you do not appear to have a graphics card, which you may want if you're doing anything beyond web surfing.

I should have mentioned that I already own two 128 meg video cards and I have a 512mb ddr of my own.

the retail version (rather that OEM) of that processor comes with a fan, heat sink, and three year warranty, plus it costs $3 less.

I'm not sure if these are all the parts you plan to use, but it doesn't look like your case comes with a power supply. Nor does the motherboard come with onboard video.

I've always been partial to Western Digital hard drives (the "Caviar" series), but maybe that's just me. They are on sale at BestBuy or Circuit City every other week. I've had mine for 4+ years and it's still going strong.

I noticed that too, and ordered that one. I've got a 420 watt power supply at home as well.

Seagate is definitely a "big name" brand when it comes to HDs. I've never really heard anything too good or too bad about Seagate, I'm just saying that I've had very good success with WD.

get 2 big SATA drives and RAID them - the likleyhood of both drives going is v. low, plus you machine will be up and running until the replacement drive comes. other than that though, this looks like a pretty good setup.

Setting up RAID

Changes you need to make to your windows installer(the SATA drivers will be on your mobo CD)
