Prompt post number 1 for touchline is now open! Take a quick look at the rules and play nicely.

As of 5 August, touchline has put up a series of unfilled prompts for discussion! Prompts have been taken from a variety of sources but we would like it to be known that posting them here is not to undermine their original communities in any way and has only been done ( Read more... )

ok so I guess we haven't really clarified our position on het or non-player characters or anything but WHATEVER, this prompt needed to be written right the fuck now.

via twitter, source of all that is excellent - Helena Seger: "Not a day passes without me thinking about wanting a job to go to. I will restart my career as soon as Zlatan finishes his ( ... )

THIS PROMPT OMG. If I could write properly, I would so try it. (re-reads comment - instead I'll... spam you with my cracked out pseudo-analysis of Zlatan's personality, apparently *headdesk* Sorry >.>)

I'm sort of in love with Helena. She has him so whipped, it's amazing ♥ And I think that maybe, I dunno, she's one of very few people whose opinion he cares about enough to acknowledge to himself that he cares about it (because Zlatan is all about denying that anything fazes him even when it does, omg). And based entirely on, like, obnoxious paparazzi pics and a handful of quotes, I get the feeling she's similar to him in that she's doesn't give a flying fuck what people think of her. But she's more secure in her not caring, whereas a measure of Zlatan's jackassery comes from actually being a bit insecure about how people perceive him, and he's reacting to that aggressively to try and show everyone how much he does not care (see above XD). So in my head-cannon, that's a big part of what attracts him to her - she's utterly self- ( ... )

ahhh Zlatan. you've read dryada's posts about him, right? the one about Zlatan+feminism brings tears to my eyes.

Zlatan is so misunderstood, man. or, I mean, not exactly, because clearly he is a huge egotistical dick, but I always think people don't get where he's coming from. (I have similar feelings about Mario Balotelli tbh.) like, the extent to which having had to deal with stupid racist fuckwits from a very early age has or hasn't shaped his worldview, having always looked very much "different" or "other" and being excluded by "normal" people for it... yeah, no kidding he's a difficult personality. how else was he supposed to live through all that ( ... )

So there's a (pretty crappy, but I'll take what I can get XD) Google translation of Helena's interview w/ Wellness over on the A.C. Milan forum (part 1 and part 2).

Are you training and Zlatan something together?
- No! We did it once when we were in New York. They had a good gym on Hotel, we put our running shoes and went to the treadmill. It ended with that Zlatan sat down next and felt sick. He is a physical genius who did not need to practice. I'm taking that to mean that Zlatan couldn't keep up with her on the treadmill (because he's so ridiculously talented that he doesn't need to work out that hard usually) and that this teeny-tiny mother of two kicks his ass regularly at fitness. Basically I couldn't love her more ♥ Though this sort of suggests to me that he doesn't have that great a work ethic, which is... maybe not so good ( ... )

Argh, I left a reply with links to a translation of that interview with Helena and I think it got caught in lj's new automatic comment moderation thing :(

But: how much would you object to, oh, say, Vincent deciding he wants to play hockey and causing all sorts of *drama*?

And Helena and Zlatan having sex in the woods while hunting.

Thanks :)

Yeah, lj is being stupid. Apparently it doesn't like links in comments.

darkhavens has info over here on how to deal with that, if you haven't seen it already. It would be nice if lj would let people op-IN to stuff once in a while instead of jumping through hoops all the time :/

no no no, it came through! I was just taking my time so I could read everything and compose a proper reply, what with time differences it was bedtime when I saw it. ;) but in brief: Vincent playing hockey and Zlatan and Helena having sex while hunting both sound like pretty fucking fabulous ideas to me!

It was hiding for a few hours in there XD Don't worry, that wasn't a passive aggressive comment about "argh, why is she not replying to my comment."

The stuff about maybe living in Stockholm is useful, since Malmö isn't exactly a hot-bed of hockey.

Title: Taking Care of House and Home
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: Zlatan Ibrahimović / Helena Seger
Word Count: 7,050
Summary: “Come on,” Helena says. Zlatan turns his head just far enough to see that she’s dressed and all made up, just putting in her earrings; she looks sexy as fuck but he buries his face back into the pillow anyways. “Get up. I have to get to work and someone needs to take the boys to school.”
