Yes, it oversimplifies some things, both in the true story and in people's motivations in general...but how could you fit all that into two hours? It does what it's meant to. Sigourney--mindblowing. Same with our young Ryan of Smallville fame (two shows in a row about closeted bigotry being self-destructive...who knew?).

I completely agree with you! That is such a well written response as well. "You'd think this debate would have no place in current life becuase the right response should be so obvious. And yet sadly isn't.
