Committee Adjourned

I’m tired today.  The gloomy gray clouds and drizzling rain do not help the situation.

Back on the coffee kick because it deadens my appetite in the morning.  For some reason, eating in the a.m. lately is just so blah.  Breakfast food just doesn’t do it for me, so a little java and wa-la, lunch time!

It’s all good except the spending way too much ( Read more... )

obama, dreams, caffeine

I hope you don't fall asleep tonight in class. At least you will have bad breath to keep the unwanted away.

I have never dreamed about a president. You have a lot of government on your mind. The other day I had some bad dreams all night. I don't remember much of the details but there was lots of cannibalism involved. Weird. I havn't had vivid dreams in a very long time. I could do with out the maneaters though.

I didn't fall to sleep, but it was a very close call. The topic was sexual harassment. Gah, that subject is so over done. What is life without a little sexual harassment?

I love to dream. I can tell when my thyroid medication is off because I don't dream, I just die. There is nothing between night and morning but darkness. When I wake, its like being born for half a second, minus the squished head and body fluids.

I take my caffeine just as plane-jane as it comes. Sing along now: The best part of waking up is Folger's in your cup! I down it pretty good until 'round 9-9:30 and then I sut it down 'cause if I don't I'll be up ALL night. Yuck. I need all the beauty sleep I can get.

Yeah, where is Maso? I've been meaning to shoot him an email. I need to get that done. Heh, I don't think I am novel writing material myself. I'm lucky to even be writing THIS down let alone a jillion word thing that makes any kind of sense. But I know Maso can do it!

I don't think I could hack going back to school again like you are doing Pru...I mean Tova. I went to night school in the late eighties/early ninties and got my Associates in Science and that was enough for me.Kinda like the old joke about the monkey screwin' the skunk -I didn't get all I wanted just all I could stand.

I know there's a few of us that can write a novel and I know there's a few of me that can't. Mainly, me, myself and I. ;)

I'm with you and Roy. Maso can definitely do it.

I, too, been meaning to e-mail him. I just need to do it.

I hate caffeine withdrawals. I hate the headaches.

So is Prudence replacing Tova7? :)

You sure? Okay I'm leaving.

Why can't you write a novel? I think everyone has at least one good novel in them.

Prudence will never replace Tova...bite your tongue!

The day I become a Prudence, I will consider my life officially O-V-E-R.

Going back to school AND tackling a Masters program = no fun.

I feel so friggin old, even though I'm probably the youngest person at heart in the room. These very liberal late 20's and middle 30's future bureacrats are just not my cup of tea. heh.

I hit the big 4-0 this year but everytime someone asks me my age in this program and I tell them, they say, "Yeah right. Seriously, how old are you?"

hahahaha...guess I'm immature for my age.;)

Crazy dream about the President. I had a dream about President Clinton several years ago. He was sitting down in my grandmas kitchen waiting for some enchiladas to come out of the oven...lol. I remember him smiling and my aunts fawning over him. Never did find out if he liked the enchiladas, though.

I think you, Kelly, Roy, Chris, and Maso are all super talented writers. I know someday I will see one or more of your names in writing "lights"...:)

It's crazy...I don't drink coffee, but I LOVE the smell of it.

I never drank it until I hit about 35. Then one day I tried Dunkin Donuts Coffee with cream and sugar, and bam, I was hooked. But I can go a long time and not drink it. I went over a year this last time without even having it in the house....it comes and goes....mostly goes away in the summer...who wants a hot beverage when its hot outside?

Of course they do make iced coffee.....hahahah
