good intentions unmet
Got up with good intentions of accomplishing lots, but after making a loaf of banana black walnut bread, and taking the remaining stuffing from the futon mattress out to burn, then the two side panels off the pressed wood cabinet from the basement, Bill and I took the sliding glass door off to see why it doesnt want to slide very well and Bill ( Read more... ) -
another successful repurposing project!
I weeded in my garden tonite and took a heaping sled full to my bunnies. Still wanting to get fresh woodchips spread between the beds.
Bill ran out of wood to split from the old pile behind the house, so yesterday he cut down one of the maples that the mules killed by stripping the bark. It has been dead a year, so it is good and dry.

gardening and fencing
Trying to get to my front garden project, but first had to fix gate to front yard off pasture. cut a piece of elec tape and took knife, pliers and some pieces of wire for mending. got started on that then noticed bottom wire was loose, indicating a break somewhere so decided to trace it down and fix that. got that done then returned to finish gate ( Read more... ) -
cowboy challenge
Today I took Never to 2 mile run to participate in the fundraiser for trail meintenance/development. I had invited Jordyn, but he went to Erie w his mom. I really debated, but knew I would be mad at myself if I didnt go. So i put on my big girl panties and loaded her up, made myself a sandwich and took 2 bottles of ice water. Maybe you could have your own Gay Pride parade-make little rainbow flag coats for the dogs and all 3 just prance down your street at high noon. I would come and you could throw candy to me. front flower garden project
took the truck down to Ralph's for an oil change this am. when I got back, started taking apart the japanese iris/hosta/sweet flag rock garden in front. the steps from when Judy had the pool, some old lumber, etc was an eyesore for a long time. we cut and stacked the old oak lumber for firewood and the bad stuff is for campfires.

Weekend shenanigins I tried to combine this text w the pix, but didnt know how
Sat i went w Ron to his sister's and we watched throw Momma from the Train. They ate pizza and I had snax i took. gluten free.
We went Sun to church and the UU 101 class, I joined the church by signing the book.
a guy took all 6 new members' pix including a nice gay couple. I was asked to join the Fellowship committee.
