Celebration of Life Potluck
I want to thank my dear friends for coming to Bill's burial. I guess I cannot call it a funeral, there was no "service" but it felt just right to me and I will have to live with whether it did him justice or not. Re conversation Gone w the Wind, Sunset Blvd. Just looked up the main characterr who played Norma Desmond-Gloria Swanson. I would never have guessed or remembered. -
Tuesday ad Thursday
Today-Tues. Char and I went thrift shopping, to lunch and then to see "American Sniper" at the $5 Tuesday. It was good to hang out with her and spend time off the farm, where I have been hibernating. excellent weekend
Amy and Alayna came up Friday nite. the 3 of us played Old Maids-should call it Willfully Single and Independent Modern Woman!! Then Sat we went to Meadville to get Jordyn. unable to type on here very well last several times I have tried to post. for some reason the keys kept sticking . I have been at Amy's almost all month, with a couple weekends at home and she, Alayna and I had xmas here at home. we brought her artificial tree and had it up only Tue Wed Thur and took it down Fri after and drove to Cleveland to ( Read more... ) -

Amy's surgery went well last Monday I came down to spend the day with her in hosp Wed and she got out on Thur. Riding In the car and getting her up the stairs was an ordeal and she was in a lot of pain after. We have been trying various sleeping arrangements to help her get comfortable. Her mattress was too hard, sleeping on the couch was a ( Read more... ) -

pine trees by barn removed
Today Rob Kugler and crew came a little after 8am and cut down 9 trees by the back of the barn, the second step in readying for a new garage to be built. The first step was taking down the chicken pen which Bill and I did Sunday. sick of being sick!!!
been down w a nasty cold since Monday. sleeping a lot, feeling feverish, sore throat, coughing, sinus drainage, blowing nose, itchy eyes. got medicine over the counter, it helps for about 4 hours, then must take it again ( Read more... ) -
card
yesterday I received a card in the mail. hand addressed. I didnt know what it was. It was a sympathy card from Franklin Animal Clinic along with some sentimental quotes about loss of loved pets and a pawprint of Pink laminated. Of course it made me cry. I keep having crying jags all this week and a general feeling of sadness.
