I'm sorry, dude :( (I do hate it when they play The Beatles-it causes tears every time, though I'm pretty sure the mere loss causes a torrent of tears all its own). With the progression of time, I hope that all things do get better, or at least they get slightly easier; even though the departure of dear friends and loved ones should never have to occur, I am sure he knew he was loved, and that is all that matters, right, and the fact that you will always have good memories to remember. I hope you guys are okay :/
I'm doing okay, although, yeah, that song was really what pushed me over the edge. I just hate not realizing how much you miss someone you haven't seen in years until it's too damn late. As for us, we're okay, although my mom not so much. She's terribly emotional, so it doesn't take much for her to cry anyway, so you can imagine. I'm not even sure if she's put together what's really bothered me the most (the fact that he was only 6 years older than my dad...)
Anyhow, I'm okay now, although my stupid speech teacher dropped me. Apparently, if you miss a speech and don't contact her before the next class period, EVEN IF SOMEONE HAS DIED, you get bumped. Bitch.
We never expect the last time we see someone to really be the last time. It terrible that you never got to say goodbye. I'm so sorry he had to die :( *hugs* Lots of 'em, anytime you need it.
Aw...Thanks a bunch. I didn't even know you were still checking the LJ anymore! Anyhow, thanks so much. I'll collect the hugs whenever I get around to hanging out with ya! (it'd better be soon!)
