Aaron and I have been talking a lot about this whole 'marriage' thing. So we realized we could afford a crappy wedding neither of us would especially like to attend. Or we could afford to sign some papers and go on a vacation we'd both REALLY like to attend. so apparently ( Read more... )

You hear about the ones that end badly, but you also hear that *most* of them end badly. Also .... the societal expectation is you get married, you have babies. most people want that. i was pretty sure that getting hitched involved popping out some dude's kids, and I've never really been all down with that. So I just kinda figured I'd never get married. Luckily, A. would rather have a vasectomy and a cat. <3

I found that 27 was the hard age for me. 30 was a cakewalk! After that, I kind of started forgetting how old I was, but I don't think it's because I'm getting older.

I am SO JEALOUS SWIM UP POOL BAR OMG. I expect to see lots of pictures. :D CONGRATULATIONS ON EVERYTHING AWESOME!

27 was the hard age to turn, or the hard age to be? Turning 29 had me all freaked out, but on my birthday I came to peace with it. So here I'm hoping 30 will be a cakewalk too. Especially in comparison to most of my 20s... It's been mostly a pretty fucked up decade. I think I'll almost be glad to see it go.

also THANK YOU!!! I will almost certainly TAKE lots of photos. Whether they ever make it from my camera to a computer, let alone to the internet, well that's a wholly different story :P
