I just got home from up north, Crystal Lake right near Crystal Mountain for those that care. It was the most pointless vacation ever. The area is absolutely gorgeous and I think Crystal Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Michigan but the weather was AWFUL. It rained every day and it was about 60 degrees. Contentment is the worst feeling. Contentment leaves me with nothing but feelings of uneasiness. If I am content then I have nothing to dream about and no goals to achieve. Today I watched The Butterfly Effect and I liked it a lot. It's kinda crazy and weird but that seems to be the type of movie that is always my favorite (Vanilla Sky, 21 Grams, etc). There is a strong message in the movie about self sacrifice in order to contribute to the ultimate happiness of others, sort of similar to Donnie Darko I guess. ( Read more... )
