ugh, i'm finally about done with my new layout. all i have left is the userinfo, calendar, and any last tweaking, and i'm done. it's probably taken me longer to make than any other layout, so hopefully, it's not too bad. it was my first attempt at a paid account, so it's only an s1 style. i'm wondering if an s2 is even feasible for me. it looks ( Read more... )

thanks, i'm glad you like my work : ). it's always nice to hear stuff like that. i never mind people commenting in my journal, so you don't need to worry about me getting mad or anything. i'm a pretty nice guy.

heh, i've actually never read any of the harry potter books. i just thought all the movies were great. i probably would read the books if they weren't so expensive. i'm trying to save for college right now, so i really don't have money for stuff like that right now : (.

Ugh, no money? Next time I find the HP books second hand, I'll buy them and send them to you - if I can spare the money for the shipping costs.

you don't know me at all, but I occasionally browse random journals and I found I rather enjoyed your layout.

Hey there! I found you through the freelayouts community, was browsing it see if I could find a layout I liked. Yours is great! the one called "drifting clouds". Then I clicked on your name and saw the one you're currently using. Amazing.

Have you done anymore on that community, available for other people to use? I like your style. :) I like that they're minimalistic in a way and don't take a long time loading.

The one I'm using now I like, but the header keeps moving when the size of the window changes. :/ I think I'll be using "drifting clouds" next though. Could I change the main image, the color of the links? I'd still credit you for everything of course.

Great job!

hey, glad you like my layouts! i actually have one other one over there that i submitted more recently. it has a subway train ,and it's in the same minimalistic style. i actually like the subway one better, so maybe you could check that one out too. i forget what i named it, but it should be under the simple category.. i think it was something like "passing by".. something like that.

feel free to change the layouts anyway you want. i figure if i'm not going to use the layout anymore, what difference is it to me what other people do with it? hope it turns out well for you!

oh, and sorry about the late reply.. i've had a lack of internet lately : (.

I tried changing it but I would just mess it up. :/ I don't know about coding and it wasn't as obvious what did what. I just wanted to make the column wider I think. But whatever, I snagged another and I will definitely be checking out that other one you mentioned! Your layouts are probably the best I've seen, really pro. :) See ya around and thanks.

yeah, changing the column width probably isn't something that you can accomplish too easily. you'd have to create a whole new background tile to do that. here's the other layout if you want to check it out. i left a lot of notes in the overrides of this one to make it easier for people to edit it.
